Miami Med Spas Audit: Not One Spa Has the Full Booking Stack
We audited 40 med spas in Miami in October 2026. 36% offer no online booking, 95% have no chat or text widget, and zero of 39 websites combine booking, instant response, and a working site.

Short answer: In October 2026 we audited 40 med spas listed in Miami. 36% offer no online booking. 95% have no live chat or text widget. And Miami is the only major metro in our 18-city study where not one website — zero of 39 — combines online booking, an instant-response channel, and a working site. Every figure on this page comes from that audit, part of our US med spa booking report covering 606 spas in 18 metros.
Miami should be the easiest market in America to book a med spa appointment in. It has the demand: the median spa in this audit has 282 Google reviews, the highest of any city in the series, and 80% have more than 100. It has the fastest websites in the series (median load 1.9 seconds). What it does not have is a single spa that finished the job.

The funnel: 40 spas become zero

Every other metro in this series has at least one spa a patient can fully self-serve: find, question, book. Miami’s funnel ends at zero. A patient can book at 25 spas — but at none of them can they also get an instant answer to the question that decides the booking. In a city where aesthetic treatments are a competitive sport, the entire market leaves the conversation to whoever answers the phone first.
Finding 1: Miami’s demand is the highest, its booking is below average
Only 64% of Miami med spa websites offer online booking, against a national figure of 71% — and only 9 spas (23%) use a recognized booking platform. This is not a market of beginners: median 282 reviews means these businesses have served thousands of patients. Their booking infrastructure simply has not kept pace with their reputations. The 14 spas with no booking path are converting reputation into phone calls, and phone calls into whoever happens to be free.
Finding 2: 95% cannot answer a question instantly
Two websites. That is how many Miami med spa websites in this audit have a live chat or text widget — 2 of 39. The remaining 95% offer a patient with a pre-booking question three routes: book blind, use a form (and half do not even have one), or call. Miami patients asking about candidacy, downtime, or price — the questions that decide high-ticket treatments — wait hours or days for answers, or get them from the next spa on the list. The automatic answer to a missed call or an on-site question is the cheapest technology in this entire report; our missed call text back guide shows the mechanics.
Finding 3: the one thing Miami does best
Credit where due: Miami’s websites are the fastest in the series (median 1.9 seconds, against a national median of 2.4) and its spas are the most likely to have a contact form (49%). The front of the shop is polished. It makes the missing back half stranger — this is not a market that neglects its websites. It is a market that built beautiful websites and stopped one step before the patient could complete the journey on them.

How this audit was done
- Sample: med spas and aesthetic clinics listed on Google Maps for Miami, found with “med spa,” “medical spa,” and “aesthetic clinic” searches in October 2026 — 40 businesses after de-duplication by listing ID.
- Dates: listings collected 22–23 October 2026; every website checked on 23 October 2026.
- Definitions: online booking = a recognized booking platform (23 checked, including Zenoti, Boulevard, Square, Vagaro, Mangomint) or a booking page/path on the spa’s own site. A phone number or contact form does not count. Chat = a known live-chat or web-text widget vendor in the homepage code. Speed = one timed homepage fetch from a remote server, indicative rather than a lab score.
- Verification and limitations: a random sample of flagged sites across the series was re-checked manually in a browser and the flags held. Homepage-based checks could miss a booking path with no homepage trace; a booking link to a broken flow still counts as booking. Full methodology in the national report. If you run a spa in this audit and believe a finding is wrong, contact us and we will re-check and correct it.
